March and February will initiate a scientific-technological agenda of the iHERITAGE project. The Living Labs will complement the research of the creative, social and historic background of the intangible cultural heritage of Algarve, connecting them to the innovative solutions within the world of sustainability, tourism and new technologies.
The approach to these ecosystems of innovation are centred on a systematic methodology of content creation, multidisciplinary research and configuration processes in Algarve’s geography. These events aim to present the development, architecture and functionality of two mobile applications (MARINADE+REMIND), inserted in the research focus of the iHERITAGE project in Portugal; the Mediterranean Diet. The subscription of this cultural experience will be directed to the local community and the flow of tourists, offering them a glimpse from past generations, in response to the environment, to the power of local gastronomy, to the history of the landscape and to the sense of identity in Algarve.-
The first session will be in Portuguese and will take place on the 18th of February, in the computer room nº 23, at the Escola Superior de Gestão, Hotelaria e Turismo, Universidade do Algarve. The second session will be in English and will adopt an online format, using the link on the Zoom platform. Both sessions will be taught by Prof. Dr. Mauro Figueiredo, researcher at CIMA-UAlg.
The participation in the Living Labs is free and open to the community. However, the sessions will have a maximum limit of 20 participants. Registration for both sessions must be completed two days prior to the agenda proposal; 16th February and 16th March, respectively, to the email address lldorsch@ualg.pt.
